Dance Academy

Baradene Dance Troupes are performance teams comprising talented and passionate dancers from Years 7 to 13. Each year, students audition to be part of the troupes that represent Baradene College at regional and national dance competitions. Styles include Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. 

Auditions are held at the beginning of Term 1, where Senior Dance students and Dance Teachers select dancers for each troupe. This year, we had over 70 students and 12 different groups which is a record for the college. 

All students are welcome to audition!

Troupe rehearsals begin in Term 1 and run weekly throughout the year. Competitions take place during Terms 2 and 3, with specific events confirmed early in Term 1 once official dates are released.
