All students from 7-10 have the opportunity to participate in the ICAS examination at Baradene each year. It is not a compulsory examination and is designed to recognise and reward academic excellence.
The assessments are based on the curricula for the relevant year. Students are asked to demonstrate a deeper, integrated and thorough level of learning and understanding.
The examination is run by an external provider UNSW Global in Australia and is completed online during school time. If students are successful they receive medals and certificates to recognise their achievement.
