Representing NZ
Congratulations to Tessa Brunton (Year 12) on her selection into the final iGeo team representing New Zealand at the international Olympiad competition in Hong Kong next year. The team comprises of only 4 students so this is an outstanding achievement!
To qualify for this team, Tessa had to write a concise but comprehensive geographic essay, then she travelled to Wellington to take part in the next stage of the selection process which involved a day of testing and a range of geographic tasks. Judges select team members based on not just their geographic knowledge but their ability to interact with others and be part of a team.
