Rowing is organised by a Committee, in conjunction with the College. There are two training camps held each year and girls compete in various regattas throughout the season, including the North Island Championships and the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ Championships at the end of Term 1. A “Learn to Row + Cox” programme is held at the beginning of Term 3 so girls can have a try before committing to the season. We have a team of dedicated coaches who run all the programmes.
West End Rowing Club – Baradene Rowing is affiliated to the West End Rowing Club and utilise their training facilities in Avondale (week day on water training) and Mercer (weekend on water training).
